School Supplies Lists 2026-2027

Please make certain all in-person instructional supplies are labeled with your child's name.

Items to bring to school:

• 2 packages (12) sharpened yellow pencils (Dixon /Ticonderoga)
• Headphones, preferably with microphone. NO bluetooth.
• 3 large boxes of Crayola crayons, at least 24
• 8 LARGE Elmer’s glue STICKS
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 1 pair of scissors
• 2 big pink or white erasers
• 1 soft pencil case
• 10 THICK black dry erase Expo markers
• 2 boxes of tissues
• 2 containers of antibacterial wipes
• 2 containers of baby wipes
• Boys - 1 large box Ziploc gallon bags
• Girls - 1 large box Ziploc sandwich bags
• 1 change of clothes (labeled & put into a labeled Ziploc bag)
• 1 ream of white paper

Items to keep at home:

• Pencils
• Erasers
• Crayons
• Glue sticks
• Scissors

Welcome to the First Grade at Margetts School. We are eager to meet you and your children in September. In order to begin the learning experience right away, it would be helpful to send your child with supplies for the start of school. Please send them to school by the first week of school. Please label all items with your child’s name if possible.

• Backpack
• 2 black and white WIDE RULED composition notebooks
• 3 packages of TICONDEROGA #2 pencils – Please sharpen the pencils…thanks
• 2 packages of 4 BLACK THIN EXPO dry erase markers (total of 8 markers)
• 2 folders (RED, BLUE)
• 10 large glue sticks
• 1 package of 24 CRAYOLA crayons
• 2 big pink erasers
• 2 pairs of children’s scissors (the brand “Fiskars” work the best, one pair of scissors should be kept at home)
• A small supply box (this needs to fit inside the desk)
• 1 box of tissues
• 1 box of baby wipes
• Small pencil sharpener with a lid to keep it closed
• Headphones (for their chromebooks)
• ream of 8 1/2 by 11 copy paper
• 1 pack of gallon size ziplock bags
